A couple of things to note about this show, the first of what I hope will be many 6-song shows:

I’ve added a new feature called Artist Rewind. Basic idea is that you’ll get to hear another song from a band previously featured on this podcast. It’s a way for me to continue to promote certain bands without repeating the same songs multiple times. Anyone doing a daily podcast — like, say, Adam Curry — can get away with that, but I like introducing people to new tunes, especially for those who listen to Dave’s Lounge multiple times.

Also, the second half of this show features a few bands playing live trip hop that some may label “Shoegazer” or “Atmospheric Pop” or even “Live Jazz.” It’s a bit of an experiment for me, really, and I’m curious as to what people think of it.
