I know the last thing anybody wants to hear from a podcast is a rerun, but since I’m not up to doing a show tonight after getting away for the weekend, and considering this one seems to have dropped off the RSS feed, I figured it was worth bringing back. I might have been early to the podcasting game, but when it comes to social networking sites, the running joke is that a site isn’t officially mainstream — and boring — until I sign up myself. One of the little joys of doing this podcast is getting new music from some of my favorite artists before any else gets it. It’s just like that feeling I used to get when I was a college radio DJ, and I would go to the station and see an inbox full of new vinyl and CDs. I got that feeling again over the weekend.
