Dave, thanks for persevering. You are SUCH a treat to look forward to every week. As someone who is working hard to build a momentum in his own scheduling and services and battling procrastination, life distractions, etc, you are personally one of my inspirations. Not only in terms of the precious music you share, but personal things like this that show how silly some of my own excuses are for falling short of my schedule. So, just a big thank you for that. AnjiBee, of course, is the other bookend of that kind of inspiration, so if she stumbles upon this, I don't want her to feel slighted. lol

So this Verizon issue must be a local thing because Verizon is THE service for cells here in NYC. Amazing service all around. However, I would not choose FiOs over Cable, since it is much slower for proportionally higher prices. I have one of the fastest internet connections you can get in residents in America at 101Mbps and my service is nearly flawless. But that's with CableVision/OptimumOnline. Okay, that was completely useless information, but still... I wonder what makes these services so great in one place, and not in another. Well, except AT&T.

Thanks, Dave!!

Sadly, Clearwire doesn't work in my neighborhood, as it's something of a wireless dead zone. I can barely get one bar on Verizon, and friends and neighbors on other networks have similar troubles. So Clearwire isn't really an option here, sadly.

Do you get Clearwire where you are? It's satellite internet - not too spendy either! Best of luck. I've followed your show on iTunes for three years and it's the best podcast out there.
