Congratulations to @carlweaver, @cluebcke, @doctorZZ and @karankshah for winning free copies of Artemis’ new EP Auralei. Not only does Artemis have a new EP in 2010, but so does Natalie Walker’s band Mouchette. This week, you’ll hear a song that I first heard them play (and recorded for posterity) in Philadelphia in December of 2008, not to mention plenty of great artist and label submissions.

  1. For the first time, I bought something from listening to it on “Dave’s Lounge”. I bought the Mouchette on the strength of that song and Natalie Walker’s involvement. Like with Hungry Lucy’s excellent new album “Pulse of the Earth”, also available on Bandcamp, the fact that I can buy a lossless version has sent me over the edge yet again. It’s my weakness!

  2. By the way, I hope you play a song from the new Hungry Lucy. I especially like track 9, Sunday Smiled, because it’s a startling and heartfelt duet. Most unlike Hungry Lucy and very welcome.
